Optrand AutoPSI-S压力传感器是一个完全独立的单元。传感元件通过光纤耦合到容纳所有电子电路的外壳。外壳有四个或五个颜色编码的引线（取决于系统接地要求），用于端接到电源和数据采集系统。
Optrand AutoPSI-S燃烧压力传感器专为工业应用而开发，为生产发动机监控和控制应用提供低成本，可靠的解决方案。该传感器采用独特的光纤结构，能够在高水平的电磁/射频干扰（EMI / RFI）场和高温下工作。光电电路采用小型坚固外壳封装，无需单独的接口单元。传感器可以很容易地由发动机控制单元（ECU）供电和读取; 或系统，如汽油，柴油和天然气发动机的燃烧分析，预测和基于状态的维护，参数排放监测等。
锥形尖端或锥形肩：压力密封表面位于传感器的前部。推荐的密封扭矩：50-100in-lb，示例：C31242-Q
肩部：在传感器外壳的台阶处需要黄铜或铜垫圈。推荐的密封扭矩：25in-lb，示例：C31273-Q
法兰：在外壳的螺纹上需要黄铜或铜垫圈。外壳的法兰（或六角）部分挤压垫圈。推荐的密封扭矩：15至25in-lb。示例：C21224-Q
法兰/表面:(仅限M5传感器）传感器可以密封在法兰或表面（具有118度锥形座）上。推荐的密封扭矩：12至17in-lb
法兰垫圈：这些传感器专为Optrand的PSIplug设计，PSIplug是一种改进的生产火花塞（型号SP-D6/J6）。
